Our Heritage
Patkar Vacuulab was founded in 1997 by the late Mr. Madhukar D. Patkar, formerly Joint Managing Director of Acmevac Pumps & Engineering Pvt. Ltd., a company that had been rated number one in India for vacuum pumps since 1964.
With a vision to rethink vacuum technology from first principles, Mr. Patkar established Patkar Vacuulab as a design and development centre. The result was the OTL™ series, a product that didn't exist anywhere in India before, and is now found in over 3,000 plants.
Today, the company is headed by Mr. Vikram M. Patkar, continuing that legacy of indigenous innovation from Mira Bhayandar, Thane.
